The August 22 storm that rolled through the Forest Lake area around 9:30 p.m. left a fair amount of damage in its wake at the Mike and Lynnette Arbuckle residence on Third St. A large tree was struck by lightning and landed on the Arbuckle’s garage. Mike was in the garage at the moment of impact, but walked away unscathed.
